The 2014 Field Day was held June 28-29.

What's Field Day?

"ARRL Field Day is the single most popular on-the-air event held annually in the US and Canada. On the fourth weekend of June of each year, more than 35,000 radio amateurs gather with their clubs, groups or simply with friends to operate from remote locations."

In a nutshell, Field Day is an annual event where amateur radio operators across the continent get out of their shacks and into the field.  We set up radio stations in the outdoors, both because it's fun and because it's a great emergency preparedness exercise.  Members of the public are welcome.  This is a great opportunity for you to come see what ham radio is all about, and what we can offer in emergencies.  We will be running a "Get on the Air" station, where you will be able to operate a radio yourself and make contacts across the country and the world. Please stop by!
