New to amateur Radio? No license required to join!
👥 How to Join KCARC
Getting started is easy. We invite you to attend one of our monthly meetings and get to know the club. It’s a great opportunity to meet local amateur radio operators, ask questions, learn about upcoming activities, and discover the many aspects of the hobby. Visitors are always welcome, and there is never any obligation to join when attending a meeting.

♥ No License Required
You do not need an Amateur Radio License to become a member. If your goal is to eventually earn your license, our experienced members will gladly provide the mentorship, resources, and guidance you need to prepare for your exam and get started. Many of our members joined before earning their first license, so you won’t be alone!

Membership Dues
& Flexible Plans
Our annual dues help support club activities, repeater operations, and community service events. We offer two standard annual plans.
Individual Plan: $25.00
Family Plan: 40.00
Prorated savings
Don’t worry about joining mid-year!
We prorate our dues throughout the calendar year so you only pay for the remaining portion of the year in which you sign up.
Free Student Memberships
We are committed to encouraging the next generation of amateur radio operators. Students 18 years of age and under who are currently enrolled in school may join free of charge through the calendar year following their graduation.
Today’s students are tomorrows operators, innovators, and leaders!

Joining KCARC is easy. Our membership application is available as a fillable PDF that can be downloaded here and completed directly on your computer before printing.
Prefer paper? Simply print the application and fill it out by hand.
If you do not have access to a printer, no problem. Membership applications are always available at our monthly meetings, and a club member will be happy to assist you with the process.
