Field Day took place on June 25 and 26 at Brecknock County Park in Camden.

Field Day is over and most had a good time. Band conditions were up and down, but overall it was not that bad. Most had many opportunities to work some HF and operate from a location that does not have a HOA, and experience some marginal band conditions.

This will be a twenty-four hour event. Set up will start at 08:00 at the park on Saturday and operation starts at 14:00 (2:00 PM) and will run until 14:00 (2:00 PM) on Sunday.

Sign up, all aspects of the operation are still open, contact Jerry at: n3krx@aol.com to check what’s available.

For those interested, the rules have changed some, and now stations can have no more than one hundred watts, regardless of class, and the digital modes of FT8 and FT4 will be allowed. More information is available on the ARRL Field Day website.

So come on out and to operate if you like, or just stop by for a great time. Everyone, (non ham operators also) are welcome to come see what the Club is doing there for the weekend.

For those working at another site, if they don’t work all night and you want to, come to Camden, you can work at different sites during the Field Day Weekend.
